Powerlynk project, Liepaja ESS, 100 MW / 200 MWh battery energy storage project in Latvia.

The entry of NGEN Group into Latvia with deployment of Tesla Megapack technology, one of the first utility-scale BESS projects supporting Baltic grid stability after synchronization with Continental Europe.

The project was publicly announced by the Ministry of Economics of Latvia, confirming its strategic importance for national energy security.

Focuses on project origination, structuring, and transaction readiness.

Kārlis has been directly involved in the strategic positioning and transaction pathway of Liepaja ESS, including cooperation with international developers and technology providers.

His experience includes

Land acquisition and long-term land rights structuring

Developing and scaling energy infrastructure platforms

Structuring BESS projects for institutional investors

Coordinating with international partners, EPCs, and technology providers

Preparing projects for RTB sale, JV formation, or long-term ownership
